Garmin Nuvi 760 Product Review: Find Yourself With The Garmin Nuvi 760
Have you ever asked the question "Where’s my car?" or "Where am I?". Normally, these questions are asked in a state of deep frustration when you are lost, in need of assistance, and don’t know where to turn. You will never feel this way again with the Garmin Nuvi 760.
Two new features of the Garmin Nuvi 760 are in fact called "Where’s my car?" and "Where am I?". People love these features.
With the "Where’s my car?" feature, your Garmin Nuvi 760 automatically marks the location that you have parked your car when you take it off the mount. Thus, when you are in a big parking lot and cannot find your car, simply look at your Garmin Nuvi 760 and it will tell you where your car is parked. For me, this is perfect at the airport when I can never seem to remember where I parked when I return from a trip.
The "Where am I?" feature is also quite impressive. On this GPS, there is a device that you can press at any moment that will allow you to understand your surroundings. Press the "Where Am I?" feature and you will automatically be apprised of your exact location, the intersections that are near, and perhaps most importantly, the location of all the points of interest in the area. You’ll never need to feel the frustration of being lost again with this "Where Am I?" feature.
These are just a two of the new features of the Garmin Nuvi 760, but there are plenty more. This GPS also has an amazingly clear 4.3 inch screen, multi-destination routing so that you will always know the best way to go, integrated points of interest, an FM receiver, picture viewer, and an MP3 player. It’s the only device that you’ll need when you are on the go.
I once thought that a portable GPS was just a techie gadget for the guys, but I discovered differently a couple of years back. My mom found herself lost in a bad part of town in a new city. Normally tough and resilient, my mom felt lost and scared. I realized then that a portable GPS is for everyone because you can take it with you…it does not have to stay in your car like those that come with your automobile.
