An SD memory card slot is located on the left side of the nuvi 760 (used for storing photos or additional maps), as is the headphone/audio out jack. Simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, and nuvi takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. It’s hard to beat hold timer maps and compass. I had recently purchased and returned the Tomtom Go 720 since the maps were worthless in Alberta. The garmin is less "tweakable" than the tomtom, but the Navteq maps proved far superior to the Teleatlas maps of the Tomtom. Preloaded on the Nuvi 760 is City Navigator street maps along with millions of POI’s (points of interest) which are all controlled through touch screen commands.
